Gallows take CDO Fosters 1st, division cup.

A triumphant Gallows team after their 4-2 win over Baker Street in the CDO Fosters 1st, division cup final played at the Joshua Tree.
Also included is Paul McGarry and Richard Moloney CDO.

The Gallows came good after several attempts when at the Joshua Tree on Monday night last they captured the Cork Darts Organisation Fosters sponsored cup with a deserved win over Baker Street in the final.

The semifinals saw Baker Street fashion out a 4-2 win over the Gerald Griffin while the Gallows were involved in a very close encounter against the Old Reliable before edging it on a 4-3 scoreline.

The opening game of the final saw Gallows number one on the night Steve Harrington come from a leg down to defeat Baker Street number one Paul O’Callaghan but all was soon square between the sides as Chris O’Connor overcame the challenge on Tomás Moloney also by a 2-1 scoreline.

Gallows then took the lead once more as their number three Ronan McCarthy took another three legged affair ahead of Robert O’Connor and again it was even as the break approached with Gavin O’Connor outscoring Ray Glynn to leave it with all to play for at 2-2.

However the break certainly did not do any favours for Baker Street as Willie Kennedy had a 2-1 win over Trevor Bourke and Aaron McGrath completed matters for the Gallows as he got the better of Derek Sheehy again by 2-1 to lift the silverware for the Gallows.

The man of the match award went to Gallows Steve Harrington.
