Con O’Donovan’s side of Stephen Coveney, Liam Guiney and Paul McGee winners of the 3 a-side competition ran in conjunction with the Togher festival in 1986.
Also included are Brendan O’Connor, Ardmanning and festival Queen Catriona Casey.

Just take a zoom in of the fixture list in this picture and note the amount of teams competing at that time back in 1985, a total of 81 men’s teams and 20 ladies teams for a grand total of 101 teams in all, great days and very heady days in the sport of darts and more than probable Monday nights the second busiest, if not the busiest night of the week in many of the pubs, in particular the pubs that had 2 teams involved.
