Playing for a play-off spot Monday night.

The quarter finals schedule for the Second and Junior divisions of the Cork Darts Orginisation Fosters leagues will be determined Monday night after the final games of the group phases will be completed.  The Local bar sit on top of the 2nd division with 19 points and can add to that at the Glenryan Tavern tonight where they face joint second placed Glenryan 1. The Glenryan 2, sharing 2nd spot with 16 points, are away to bottom placed, Residence and should do enough to earn a spot in the quarters after their 4-1-win last week against the Shamrock bar. Mark Hickey got the first game for the Shamrock beating Timmy Crowley 2-1.   But with wins from Stephen Cunningham, John Magee, Keith O’Callaghan and Paul Philpott for the Glenryan side, beating Tadgh Forde, Robin O’Donoghue, Aidan Carroll and Gary Hayes, the contest finished 4-1 to the Northside team.

Also, in contention are the Joshua Tree 2, where they will take a trek to Mahon tonight to play the Redcove. Shamrock bar have a bye.

Jack Forde’s currently hold top spot in the Junior division on 19 points and its very tight there with Muskerry Arms on 18, Gallows on 17, Island Tavern and Fox & Hounds both on 15, Tower on 14 with the Riverlane & Ma Dullea’s both on 11.   Still all to play for, the fixtures tonight are; Riverlane V Fox & Hounds, Muskerry Arms V Jack Forde’s, Gallows V Tower and Island Tavern V Ma Dullea’s.

In the Super Division, Section 1, the Gallows Beat Hennessy’s 3-2, Rosies beat Maple Leaf, 3-2 and the Local got 5 points from the Josh. Tonight, the Local must travel to Rosies, Maple Leaf V the Gallows and Hennessy’s V Joshua Tree.

In Section 2, Top of the Hill fell short at Blackpool last week losing 3-2 to the Groves in a see-saw contest. Quinlans travelled to Tower street to play Ma Dullea’s and returned to Blackpool 3-2 victors.  Tonight, Top of the Hill play Quinlans in Blackpool, Groves V Riverstown Inn and Ma Dullea’s have a bye.

Fixtures in division 1 for tonight are; Riverstown Inn V Riverlane, Aunties V Bakers Street, Carrigaline GAA V Hennessey’s and Riverlane 2 V the Groves 2.

The next trials for Cork Youth Darts will be on at the Harp Bar next Saturday, November 16th. Entries from 11am and darts away at 12pm. Any youth aged from 7-17 interested in playing darts, is very welcome to join CYD.

The CDO charity night will be held at the Joshua Tree bar on Friday, November 22nd.  Few spaces are available.

The next delegate meeting will be held at Jack Forde’s bar, on Tuesday November 12th   at 8:30pm.
